1. Scope of Work:

  • This document outlines the terms and conditions for the installation of flooring products purchased from The Floor hut. Before installation, customer will be provided with Schedule A with Scope of work outlining the detailed work to be completed. Both parties need to sign the document in order to start the work. 

2. Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Installation scheduling will be coordinated between The Floor Hut and the customer. The customer agrees to provide access to the installation area as scheduled.

3. Site Preparation:

  • The customer is responsible for preparing the installation site, including removing furniture, appliances, and existing flooring materials, unless otherwise specified in the installation agreement.

4. Flooring Inspection:

  • Prior to installation, the customer should inspect the flooring products to ensure they meet expectations. Any concerns or discrepancies should be communicated to The Floor Hut before installation begins.

5. Subfloor Conditions:

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Any subfloor repairs or modifications required will be communicated and may incur additional charges.

6. Installation Process:

  • Installation will be carried out by experienced and qualified installers employed or contracted by The Floor Hut
  • The installation process will adhere to industry best practices and manufacturer guidelines.

7. Completion and Inspection:

  • Upon completion of the installation, the customer will have the opportunity to inspect the finished work. Any concerns or issues should be communicated immediately.

8. Acceptance:

  • The customer's acceptance of the completed installation is assumed unless objections are raised on inspection or walk through on installation with customer 

9. Additional Work:

Any additional work requested by the customer during or after installation, not specified in the original agreement, may result in additional charges.

10. Warranty: - The Floor Hut provides one year warranty on the installation workmanship. Refer to the warranty documentation provided for specific details.

11. Payment: - Payment for the installation services is due as outlined in the agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in delays or additional charges.

12. Changes to Installation Terms: - The Floor Hut reserves the right to update or modify these installation terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the customer.

By proceeding with the flooring installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
